Carvd N Stone Foundation is the nonprofit and community arm of the national positive news company Carvd N Stone. Since 2018, our community impact has been driven through our for-profit work. With the creation of the Carvd N Stone Foundation, all community initiatives will now be housed here, helping us grow our impact

The Carvd N Stone brand has awarded over $30,000 in scholarships and grants.

Carvd N Stone Foundation was founded with a clear mission: to advance opportunities for Black,  Brown, and P.O.C. communities in journalism and media. As an extension of the Carvd N Stone brand, Carvd N Stone Foundation is driven by our commitment to provide access and foster growth and inclusivity within journalism.

As an extension of the Carvd N Stone brand, our foundation is driven by the belief that journalism should reflect the communities it serves, and that diverse storytellers deserve to thrive, not just survive, in this industry.

Through our four pillars: Education, Mentorship, Employment, and Community Building, we are building careers, confidence, networks, leadership, and legacy.

Education

We are devoted to educating Black, Brown, and P.O.C. communities in journalism and media by providing internships, training, and real-world experiences that equip them with the skills and knowledge to excel in the industry.

Mentorship

Our commitment extends to mentoring the next generation of journalists and media professionals. We connect inspiring college students and early-career journalists from underrepresented backgrounds with seasoned industry experts for one-on-one mentorship. 

Employment

We support initiatives that positively impact the betterment of Black,  Brown, and P.O.C. communities in journalism and media. Through in-house employment opportunities and by serving as a talent hub, we aim to promote diversity and inclusivity in the field.

Community Building

We recognize the power of building a strong community. Our foundation is not just a program; it's a network of support, encouragement, and empowerment for individuals who have historically been underrepresented in journalism and media.
