Morgan Coleman is the recipient of the inaugural annual CNS Loren Martin Hintz Travel Writing Scholarship. Coleman was awarded $1,000 for her 800-word essay responding to the 2022 theme: “If you could travel to one place you’ve never been, where would it be and why?”

The Hintz Scholarship was created to honor Martin “Marty” Hintz, who passed away in 2020. Hintz was a writer, reporter, and publisher who dedicated his life to travel. Steve Hintz, Martin’s son, approached the Carvd N Stone brand in 2021 to host the scholarship.
